About Gill Willmott
Just a little insight to my work...
A few years ago my late husband Steve was a bit of a gadget man and keen photographer, insisting on trying to make us go bankrupt with his latest expensive purchases, embracing the digital revolution as soon as it hit the shelves.
I soon decided that "if you can't beat 'em join 'em"; so when my youngest son started school full time, I set out to learn how to use my husbands latest purchase a Canon D30,walking the beautiful coastline of West Wales and taking photos at the local playgroups that my kids attended.
I soon realised that my photos were in demand and started selling to friends and relatives.
It seemed I had a good eye for a photo if not the technical know-how and my husband soon christened my developing business as "Fluke Photography".
Now I'm the first to admit that I'm not the best technically minded photographer in the world but I'm happy to know that many people have decided that my work is good enough to hang on their wall, whatever the exposures,f-stops and such that I've used.
I now use a Canon Eos 1D Mk 11 and am constantly improving and updating my portfolio.
I would like to dedicate all the photos on this sight to my late husband Steve, he was the inspiration behind them all.
I hope you enjoy looking at the images on this site as much as I've enjoyed producing them.
